IIY Invest in YourSELF Technique is a bodywork technique that can be performed on your own body either physically or in your imagination. There are 11 body points in the IIY Technique, otherwise known as the SELF Technique. The concept of the technique is to move from a negative state to its opposite. Language is key to identifying what is blocking you from moving and for identifying exactly where you want to shift to: The bodywork moves are as follows:
1. Shoulders - Throw off the weight of a negative experience/feeling 2. Upper Arms - Throw off the time waiting for better experiences 3. Thymus - Open up to new positive experiences 4. Inner Elbow - Graciously accept those new positive experiences 5. Navel - Visually imagine yourself travelling towards these new experiences 6. Knees - Stay aligned while to travel deeper into those new experiences 7. Feet - Walk free in the new energy 8. Eyes and Ears - Open your eyes and ears to the new energy 9. Crown of head - Open up to being inspired to maintain those new energies 10.Palms of hands - Surrender to new energy 11.
